Certification
The
objective of Organic Coffee production is to create a verified
sustainable agricultural system that produces coffee in harmony with
nature, supports biodiversity, enhances soil health and environmental
protection.
Organic Coffee certification is a growing with voluntarily acceptance by farmers. Our certificate is BCS.
Internal control to the member farm is carried out three times a
year. Supervision and inspection is carried out once in a year by
BCS Öko-Garantie. The certificate is released based on the report from
the inspectors.
The impact of fair trade
All of the 197 cooperatives embraced by OCFCU, are operating under the Fair Trade principle of which 28 Cooperatives
are Fair trade certified .OCFCU has been selling Fair trade
registered cooperatives coffee since 2003.Our Fair trade coffee is
widely accepted by many fair trade roasters and retailers in many
Coffee consuming countries.
